Orange Base Acridine Chemical is a biological stain or dye which is used to determine the presence of DNA and RNA in brain tissue. This fluorescent dye has strong cationic attributes that are needed for cell cycle determination process. Known for its excellent cell penetrability, this biological stain can interact with the DNA of cells through intercalation process. This dye can also interact with RNA by following electrostatic attraction method. Available in pure form, Acridine Orange Base has standard melting point and specific boiling point.
